– Updates to setup program. Its pretty advanced now, and as well if detecting if DirectX, Windows Media Player, and .net framework are not installed it now features sub setup programs which can automatically download these components for you direct from Microsoft.
– Rather than just launching notepad if there is a configuration error or error in GameEx there is now an included more user friendly error application that displays the log, with an explanation of what it means.
– There was a 2 page review of GameEx in this months issue of the UK magazine ‘PC Basics’. It was also included on the cover disk.
