Initialement nommé Mame32, il fut le premier port de MAME(Arcade) sous plateforme Windows. MAMEUI64 est un émulateur multi-arcade émulant plus de 30000 jeux (à partir de 1975) et incluant une interface (frontend). Ce build est compilé par John IV et destiné exclusivement aux processeurs supportant les instructions 64 bits (x86-64 dit x64), de plus il vous faudra un système d’exploitation compatible x64 pour le faire fonctionner.

GroovyMAME est un émulateur multi-systèmes basé sur MAME (Arcade + Consoles + Ordinateurs) et qui se focalise sur le rendu sur écran CRT (Moniteur de PC ou d’arcade avec fréquence particulière) car les auteurs sont convaincus que la technologie CRT est un must quand il s’agit de profiter de l’émulation dans toute sa splendeur. Cependant GroovyMAME peut être utilisé également sur écran LCD (principalement sur les modèles qui permettent un rafraîchissant à des taux personnalisés).
 
On note la disparition de GroovyMAME version arcade, et le renommage de GroovyUME en GroovyMAME.

 

A noter que des LiveCD sont également disponibles sur le site officiel.

MAME(Arcade), partie arcade de MAME, est un émulateur multi-arcade émulant plus de 30000 jeux (à partir de 1975).

 

Alors vous l’avez compris, il s’agit ici des builds de MAME version Arcade uniquement. Comme on ignore si un switch va exister (j’en doute) dans les managers permettant de ne scanner que les roms arcade si on le désire (ce qui éviterai à la limite de proposer ces builds) et bien on vous propose ce que vous avez toujours connu excepté que le nom devient MAME(Arcade) comme expliqué précédemment.

 

Vu le pc que j’ai ca devient difficile à compiler vu le temps que ca me prends, heureusement Ashura les a compilés pour nous, donc on remercie bien chaleureusement notre partenaire 😉

Il s’agit d’un frontend destiné à MAME(MESS). Un miroir est disponible sur le site de Progetto.

 

In case you’re wondering, it only does MESS (like before).

By using the correct compile parameters (TARGET=MAME OSD=messui) it might work with the new all-in-one MAME (UME rebadged), but I haven’t had time to try that as yet. If it does work, it may take quite a while to start up.

Officieusement appelé Mame And Mess Emulators, MAME est un émulateur Arcade et Consoles/Ordinateurs qui relie les anciens MAME et MESS dans un seul émulateur multi-usages émulant plus de 2150 systèmes différents. Couplé au frontend QMC2, vous pouvez alors utiliser tous les fichiers Mame extras & Mess Extras.
 
MESS is now integral part of MAME and will be distributed as such.

we have managed to cover more then 96% of source to be under some of open source
license. We are still urging contributors from past to contact us in order to sort this out

Note that output XML is changed so rom managers and frontends needs to get updated too.
