Charles MacDonald a posté quelques infos concernant le son du system 16B :

I’ve done some work on documenting the System 16B sound and I/O hardware. I was able to make a lot of progress after realizing I could dump the 315-5214 chip (used for Z80 address/port decoding) by wiring it’s inputs to the address lines of a 27256 socket and the outputs to the data lines. By reading the chip in a device programmer as a 27256 EPROM, it ran all possible values through it’s inputs and saved the resulting outputs. This gave me 100% accurate information on how the chip is used.
