The emulator comes with a BOOT.ROM image so the emulator can boot Model 4
operating systems without a Model 4 ROM image. For full compatibility however,
the user will need to find or create a ROM image of a TRS-80 Model 4's ROMs.
If the user is unable to find a ROM image and doesn't have a real Model 4 to
create their own ROM image the program MKROM has been included to build a 99%
compatible ROM image from the MODELA/III file included on the TRSDOS and
LS-DOS 6x operating system disks. To extract the MODELA/III file and build the
image file follow these steps.

     1) Boot either TRSDOS or LS-DOS 6x.
     2) Mount the virtual disk LD6X-UTL.DSK in drive #1
        (included in distribution).
     3) Transfer the file MODELA/III to the PC world using the command:

          EXPORT MODELA/III

Note: LS-DOS may report an error and abort the transfer. If it does
copy the MODELA/III file to drive #1 and use the command:

           EXPORT MODELA/III:1

     4) Now exit the emulator. The file MODELA.III should be in the default
        PC directory.
     5) Build the TRS80.ROM image file using the command:

               MKROM

A TRS-80 Model 4 ROM image file named TRS80.ROM should now be in the default
PC directory. You will now be able to run Model III mode software and cassette
BASIC.

Note: This is a 'make do' solution to finding a TRS-80 ROM. For full Model III
compatibility you want to find a MODEL 4 ROM image or if you have a Model 4
make your own. TRSDOS 6.2's MODELA/III is the most compatible and will allow
entry of the keys []\{}|_^~. LS-DOS's MODELA/III has some enhancements but is
also more likely to have compatibility problems with Model III mode software.
LS-DOS's MODELA/III doesn't support the []\{}|_^~ keys in model III mode.
