=========================

The _serial_delay, _serial_read, _serial_write, _serial_write_direct and
_serial_write_cmd BIOS routines will never be implemented. Without a
physical implementation of the NUON high speed serial bus, there is no
reason to implement these calls.

The filesystem routines (e.g. FileOpen) only support regular files. There
is no support for directory files, symbolic links or hard links. Note that
the development system does not differentiate between text and binary file
modes. This behavior is duplicated in the emulator such that files are
always opened using the O_BINARY access mode even if the O_TEXT flag is
specified. File handles returned by the filesystem routines are not
compatible with the media routines.
