About
- GoodGUI is a frontend for Cowering's GoodTools
- Version 2 was written in C++ using the Qt application and UI framework
Requirements
- Windows
- Qt dll files (included in GoodGUI distribution)
- Linux
- Qt core, GUI and network packages from Qt 4.7
- Wine
- X11
- OS X
- OS X 10.4 or greater
- Wine: Set filename in Menu->Config
- X11
Known Issues
- Windows
- Linux
- OS X
- When using a command that moves a file to a different directory e.g. rename or move the GoodTool output stream continuously loops after the last file is processed. Wine must be terminated using the Stop button in GoodGUI. I believe this is an issue associated with Wine or X11. If anyone has any recommendations to stop this issue please email me and I'll update this help file with the preferred settings.
Usage
- Only systems with both the "Rom Path" and a found Good*.exe file will show in the Select System Combobox
- If you want to put all of your Good*.exe files in the same directory set "Same as Rom Path" to false and set the "Good*.exe Directory"
- New GoodTools can be added without a problem, just add them to GoodGUI.ini
- Information about the options can be found by hovering over each option. Check Cowering's documents for more
- Blue items have multiple uses. Right click for multiple options
