Dumped 04/07/2000

[Aug/06/2000]

Developers note:

Alternative Castle of Dragon program roms taken from an original
working Seta pcb

well i hope they are the program roms.
on my pcb are only 2 x 1M mask roms that were soldered to the pcb.
i dumped them as 27C1000's
i dont see any other roms that look even vaguely familiar.
it looks like the other roms are not standard roms and are surface
mounted square roms, so if the roms i have dumped are not the
program roms, there's not alot i can do.

this version has no title change dip that i could see.
the dips dont seem to toggle the title... i could be wrong however.
on bootup, a red "SETA" is shown onscreen, and then the game
title "Castle of Dragon" by Seta
there's no "For use in Japan" or FBI message etc.

in case you're thinking of trying a rom swap with the existing
Dragon Unit roms, it doesn't work ;-)
