These ROM images are taken from my original Konami board set. As Konami
used to assign a reference to each of their games, this game also has
the reference of "GX-330".

The board set is made of two boads. The main board has the main connector
which connects to the external devices: monitor, speakers, buttons, etc...,
and the audio amplifier chip. The other board has two connectors which goes
to the main board.

ROM Images: All the ROMs standard 2764 EPROMs.

Board pinouts:

    The following text is not written by me. It is only added to this file
    in order to provide more help.

--------------------------- [ Begin Pinout File ] ---------------------------

                Hyper Sports / Track And Field Pinouts
                        (Konami 2P/4P sports games)

        * = Used only in 4-player Table-top (Cocktail?) cabinet.
            In 4P mode, screen is flipped for players 3 and 4

        Taken from Hyper Sports manual, but should be identical
        to Track and Field. (I got mine to work nicely)

        SOLDER SIDE                     PARTS SIDE
        --NC--                  1       +12 V
        Speaker out             2       Speaker out
        * 4P Run 2              3       * 4P Jump
        * 3P Run 2              4       * 3P Jump
        1P Start                5       2P Start
        2P Jump                 6       * 3P Run 1
        2P Run 2                7       SERVICE
        1P Jump                 8       1P Run 2
        1P Run 1                9       4P Start
        COIN 1                  10      COIN 2
        3P Start                11      COIN COUNTER 1
        2P Run 1                12      COIN COUNTER 2
        >GREEN<                 13      >BLUE<
        >RED<                   14      SYNC
        --NC--                  15      * 4P Run 1
        GND                     16      GND
        GND                     17      GND
        +5 V                    18      +5 V

        So the game needs 4 start buttons and 2 sets of 3 buttons
        for play (JUMP, RUN 1, RUN 2), Assuming dips are set for upright
        cabinet. If there's more than 2 players, players take turns
        at controls.

        If anyone has a spare Hyper Sports board around (I have
        only Track & Field) for a dirt-cheap price, email me...

---------------------------- [ End Pinout File ] ----------------------------

Misc features:

    There are three audio chips on the other board. They are YM-2211 and
    located at J17, G17 and J19.

    There is a CR-2032 battery on the main board. This may keep the RAM
    powered so the scores are saved.

    The serial number of this board set is 446457.

Hyper Sports by Konami (GX330)

8Kb files were 2764 (either EPROM or ROM)
16Kb files were 27128 (ROM)

This is a later board revision that has jumpers to set the EPROM size
It looks as if it can be set for 27128 or 2 x 2764 in some places.

A09, A15, A17 & G07, G11, G15 are on the CPU (top) board.
The rest are on the video board.
