I think this is a bootleg boardset of Karate Champ,
It doesn't have Data East allover it, and the roms don't match the set available
when I use romident 3. I will try dump the color proms if I can build the adapter.
Rom 1 could be a bad read because I read and verified it 70 times and got different
answers eveytime, I finally fluked 2 reads the same and verified ok.

Other chips onboard are

2 NEC D780c-1 one also marked8421X5 and
the other 8329X5, 2 AY-3-8910 for sound,
4 84A4OV, and 1 starnge chip marked 93l422-PC F 7477 and
another marked 93l422-PC F 7950.

[Apr/19/98]

Karate Champ bootleg.

These ROMs are from the CPU board of a bootleg Karate Champ that doesn't use
the custom DECO chip. Two of the ROMs have some bad bits, but hopefully there
will be enough here to make a complete usable set.

---------------------------------------
It's a bootleg of "Karate Champ (US VS version)" made in Italy.
The only difference to the original PCB is the first rom for CPU1 (encrypted on the original).
This PCB also has a small piggy back, probably related to CPU1 de-cryption.
