Wonderboy by Sega (1983/1985 conversion for the Star Jacker board)
There was a daughter card located in ROM positions IC086 and IC093 that
contained four EPROMS and a 74LS74. There was also a daughter card containing
some TTL in the middle of the board. Plus a few wire straps.
2 x Z80 and an 8255 (i.e. doesn't use a Z80 PIO like the native board...)

comments:
Known as "Wonder Boy Deluxe".
This is very similar to set #5. It has the checksum routine disabled, and adds
a dip switch to control how fast the enrgy decreases.

The PCB designation was wrong for IC90 and IC97 (was IC05 and IC04 on PCB)
The sprite ROMs in this set are different from all the others.
The dip switches are different as well, and also different from the other
System 8 games. The board # was 834-5753: maybe a conversion from an
earlier game?

1-2-3 program
4-5-6-7 graphics
8 sound (this for sure :-) )
9-10-11 (?... color ? boh... tell me, please)

when you have found how to emulate this pcb i can pass you the dip switch
setting... now it's too late to write down ;-)

Wonder Boy (set 4)
Sega 1985

Notes from Kold666:
"This wonderboy romset runs on a system1 1985 pcb with some flying wires.
Serial number of the pcb is 257

There are 2 piggyback boards:

The first is marked "SEGA 834-5764" and it is placed on the socket
of the sega sys1 protection chip and on a eprom socket.
there are IC2 and IC3 eproms (I can't read the codes because
the stickers are damaged).
There is also a 40 pin socket in which they have put an unknow
42 NEC cpu (they have scratched the codes) with pin 21 and 22 cut!

The second piggyback is marked "SEGA 834-5755" and it contains proms and some logic.
