P r o g r a m

Setup	Opens the setup window.	The setup window's where you configure StarLaunch for emulators, emulator groups, priority, and other stuff.
About	Shows the about window.	Displays some info about StarLaunch.
Assist / Help mode!	Slides up the assist window	Online help, what you're reading now. :)
Open Readme	Opens StarLaunch's readme.	Pops up a webbrowser with StarLaunch's readme in it.
Exit	Quits StarLaunch	Shuts down and unloads StarLaunch.

E m u l a t o r s

Emulators Listing	Select which emulator you want to use.	This is a list of available emulators that you can use with the rom. Select the one that you want to use.
Display these groups	Selects which roms are displayed.	Opens up another popup menu which contains the emulator group rom types displayed.

R o m s

Normal mode	Switches to normal rom mode	Which is scanning directories for roms, and allowing you to traverse your hard drive.
Arcade mode	Switches to arcade mode	Arcade mode is basically a menu for your arcade emulators.
Mame mode	Changes to Mame mode	Mame has a special mode, because it handles roms differently to all other emulators. StarLaunch will ask Mame-dos which roms are supported (this is cached after the first request so it doesn't waste time), and scan your mame folder for them.
New arcade file	Creates a new arcade list	Only enabled in arcade mode.
Select a different arcade file	Opens a previously created arcade file	Only enabled in arcade mode.

C o n f i g u r e

Click	Set the configuration for a rom.	If you click a rom, and the rom has an emulator associated with it, clicking Configure will load up the html profile for the rom, and StarLaunch will load your saved settings. If no settings are found, and there is a default profile, StarLaunch will ask you if you want to load that as default settings. Please note that loading configuration isn't instantaneous, since it seems to take VB a while to look through all of the objects in the WebBrowser.
Right click	Set the default configuration for the emulator group.	If you want to set a default configuration for an emulator, click on a rom, and right click the configure button. Select the menuitem that pops up, and StarLaunch will load the default configuration for the default emulator set for that emulator group.

Plugin list

Launch a plugin in specific rom configuration mode.

Starts a plugin, and sends it information about the selected rom.

M e d i a

Use a screenshot	Specify a screenshot for the selected rom.	This overrides any media folders you have designated
Don't use a screenshot	Remove the screenshot data entry from the database, for the selected rom.	Sets the screenshot in the database to nothing, though any screenshots in media folders will show.

Rom submenu

This is the same menu as the right click menu in the listview.

Lets you change the listview view, and other rom stuff.

Skin submenu

Load skin	Loads a skin	Opens a Save Dialog box, in which you tell StarLaunch where to save the skin data file.
Save skin	Save the current skin.	Displays an open dialog box to select a skin.
Default skin	Reverts to the default skin.	You'll need to restart for this change to take effect.
Dialog edit mode	Invokes Dialog edit mode :)	While this is active, you can move controls around, and resize them.
Define window moving area	Follow on screen prompts	Tells StarLaunch the dimensions of a rectangle in which it fakes a title bar drag.
Sound scheme	Opens the sound scheme window	Assign sounds to events.
Open object properties	Edit object properties.	Opens a property window of the control you're currently moving. You can manually set the position, and other properties
Listview background	Sets the listview background for the current skin	Overrides anything in setup.
Popupmenu position	Set popupmenu location	Tells StarLaunch whether popupmenus should be left of, right of, or underneath action buttons.
