| Manually adding an
emulator |
Kinda tedious, but: |
Select the group you want to add
the emulator to, from the combobox in the top
left corner of the panel. Click New.
StarLaunch will
ask you for a name, put whatever you want, but
you can't change it later, without removing and
readding the emulator, so choose wisely.
Click on the ellipse coolbutton (the flat
thing with the ... on it) on the right of the path
textbox, and you'll get a menu. You can either
tell StarLaunch directly where the exe is, or
have StarLaunch search for it. You have to enter
the emualtors' exe to use the search feature.
Choose what you like, and fill out the
information.
Now you have to
enter the parameter order for the emulator. This is
order of how parameters are passed to the
emulator. For most emulators, it's %rompath%%rom%
%params%, but
if you're configuring some arcade emulators, you
only need to put %rom% %params% in there.
Then tell
StarLaunch where the profile for the emulator is.
You do need a profile to use the emulator, and if
there isn't one, you'll have to make one.

| Default emulator |
Select the emulator that StarLaunch
uses when one isn't is selected. |
If you want to select a default
emulator, use the top left combobox to select the
group you want to modify, select the emulator
from the combobox below it, then click on Default, and the text at the
bottom of the panel should reflect the change. |
