differences from previous sharks:

save snapshots by pressing f12
new version number (3.1)
tweaked stuff in ym3812 emulation
more code
no cheat necessary for savegame and autofire
latest starscream (fixes lots of old bugs)
demons world (notice the absence of holes)
bigger file
neo-geo free for smaller file size (that's not really new though)
i can't be bothered remembering all friggin new stuff!

how to play:

pick a supported game (press P to enter menu), has to be in
the same directory as shark.exe, zipped or not zipped (rom
files in a directory with the same directory name as the
.zip file). keys 3 and 4 are credits, 1 and 2 starts one and
two player games respectively. fire button is by default
ctrl, bomb button shift, autofire is space. see listinfo.txt
for filenames and possible options if you can't figure it out
yourself. if you don't have soundblaster live or an A3D sound
card, you are allowed to set sound emulation to off (crystal
soundcards are pushing it!). you can save games and start
at the place where you left if you like and make screenshots
by pressing f12 (they end up in the same directory as shark.exe,
there is nothing you can do about that, really). default keymap
is now the same as the hotrod control because I didn't really
feel like writing a separate document specifically for the
hotrod. It is plug and play folks! Some games do not have
sound, this is intentional, the sound roms have not been
dumped for these games. If you feel crazy, you can enter the
ingame options menu to change stuff (dipswitches etc.).
If you find bugs and stuff, then I thank you for taking the
time to actually play the games, and feel free to share your
experience with me at shabbaranks@home.se. You can change
resolutions freely with any graphics card, but if you have
certain resolutions available in dos applications that you
don't see in the list of resolutions for shark (which uses
sixteen bit resolutions exclusively so no eight bit sneaky
play here) this is the fault of microsoft for not implementing
them in directx or the manufacturer of your graphics card for
not doing the same. for actual facts, look at listinfo.txt
and shark.txt.

sounds complicated? it really isn't, I just wrote that stuff
for those who bug me about instructions.
