Retrocade Gamelist Issues - For Retrocade 1.2 beta 2

The following is a list of games that have known issues/problems, etc... If
you want to know what games have sound, have backdrops, artwork, high score
saving, or dip switch settings, use the -gamelist command line option to get
a list of all games. Information about the above is no longer kept in this
file. 

When "Not optimized" is listed, it means that the game code has not been
made to efficiently uses the system's resources, and therefore its performance
is not optimal (even though it will most likely still run full speed).


Arch Rivals
-----------

Will give an "invalid instruction" assertion. Not playable.


Armor Attack
------------

Pitch of tank speed jumps instead of gradually changing


Berzerk
-------

Non-speech sounds are missing. 


Blasteroids
-----------

Sprite priorities not functional. 


Bosconian
---------

Firing and explosion samples are missing.


Defender
--------

Hold F8/F9 when originally run to get out of the game menu when you run it
for the first time.


Demolition Derby
----------------

Game not playable. Controllers have not yet been wired up.


Dig Dug 2
---------

Transparency problems. Only left/right work properly. Game not playable.
Sound tweaked.


Fantasy
-------

Not optimized.


Football
--------

Not all controllers work properly. 


Frenzy
------

Non-speech sounds are missing. 


Galaxian
--------

Audio isn't perfect - it will stairstep instead of giving an even slide. 


Joust
-----

Not optimized.


Major Havoc
-----------

Color palette is wrong causing things like the reactor timer to not appear.
Clipping does not occur.


Mappy
-----

Sound effects are too low (and screwed up)


Nibbler
-------

Not optimized.


Omega Race
----------

Gameplay is a bit jerky and sometimes slow. 


Pacman
------

When ghosts are eaten, eyes do not have transparency. 


Pleiads
-------

Game autostarts when coin inserted. Improper clipping at the bottom of the
screen. Game plays slowly in spots. 


Power Drive
-----------

Works completely.


Quantum
-------

Atom cannot be controlled from the keyboard - mouse required. Color palette 
not completely accurate, and sometimes will cause you to hit invisible 
objects.


Return to Vax
-------------

Color palette is wrong causing things like the reactor timer to not appear.
Clipping does not occur.


Robotron
--------

Some sound effects are missing


Sarge
-----

Protection faults when run.


Scramble
--------

Shots from the player's ship are white blocks instead of yellow dots.


Sinistar
--------

Jittering when transporting to a new quadrant.


Sinistar Rare
-------------

Jittering when transporting to a new quadrant.


Snow Brothers
-------------

Not optimized.


Spectar
-------

Player's "Wummel" is a 0/4/8 and a space.


Star Wars
---------

Speech will sometimes go crazy.


Stargate
--------

If you get an assertion when you try to run the game, you have the
incorrectly sized ROMset for Stargate. Get the latest from any 
of the web sites mentioned in the documentation.


Super Cobra
-----------

Shots from the player's ship are white blocks instead of yellow dots.
Not optimized.


Super Space Invaders
--------------------

Very preliminary. Graphics get corrupted sometimes. Not optimized.

Toobin'
-------

Not optimized. Occasional graphic turds left on screen. Occasional protection
fault. Sound isn't perfect. Preliminary PE.


Tutankham
---------

Sound isn't perfect. Not optimized. 


Vanguard
--------

Not optimized.


Zero Zone
---------

No sound. Sprites sometimes "Wrap" from the bottom to the top of the screen.
No dipswitches available.
