Mezcal CLI
==========

wdrun runs and inspects Mezcal titles from a terminal, without the desktop app. It shares the
app's data root (library, profiles, saves, prefixes), so both can be used on the same machine.

wdrun the command (wdrun.exe on Windows)
x1z the .x1z container tool; wdrun finds it here, beside itself
runtime/ the Mezcal runtime: the platform DLLs and uwphost. Pass it with --runtime
graphics/ our DXVK fork. wdrun installs it into its data root on first use and takes it as
the default D3D11 (it carries the fast paths some titles need)

`wdrun run` and `wdrun prefix init` only print their plan until you add --i-mean-it.

Linux (titles run on Wine; once per machine: a Wine and the shared prefix)
-----

  ./wdrun wine download vanilla
  ./wdrun prefix init --runtime ./runtime /path/to/Title/Game.exe --i-mean-it
  ./wdrun run --runtime ./runtime /path/to/Title/Game.exe --i-mean-it

Windows (titles run natively: no Wine, no prefix)
-------

  wdrun.exe run --runtime .\runtime "D:\Games\Title\Game.exe" --i-mean-it

Every command and option: wdrun --help, and the wdrun guide and reference in the Mezcal
repository (components/gui/docs/user/wdrun.md, wdrun-reference.md).

uwphost (in runtime/) is LGPL-2.1-or-later; its complete source is the mezcal-uwphost
repository at the commit named in the release's COMPONENTS.txt.
