The SoftMac XP software is compatible with all recent releases of Windows such
as Windows 95, Windows 95 OSR2, Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows
Millennium, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows 2000
Professional, Windows 2000 Server, Windows XP Home Edition, and Windows XP

The SoftMac XP software is optimized for geniune Intel Celeron, Pentium II,

Other processors such as the Cyrix, AMD K6, NexGen, WinChip, and emulated x86
processors will run much slower and their use is not recommended or supported.

Before installing the emulators, it is important that you make sure that your
DirectX drivers, ASPI SCSI drivers, and other Windows device drivers are up
to date as necessary.

This software has been tested and verified to work with the final release of
Windows XP Pro which became available on October 25 2002 and has also been
tested with the Windows 2000 Service Pack 1. The software has also been tested
with all versions of Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Millennium, and NT 4.0.
