Admittedly I haven\u00b4t helped that – I tell a \u00ab\u00a0filtered\u00a0\u00bb version of events that changes slightly on every occasion, just to keep everyone on their toes. Now I have permission to tell the truth.<\/p>\n ZiNc is S11Emu is The Impact is PSEmuPro.<\/p>\n The original authors have always been my good friends Duddie (aka The_Author) and Tratax (aka DynaChicken) up until ZiNc 0.9, at which point smf and I took over while D&T went Cube-hunting. Now you understand why I decided to \u00ab\u00a0add\u00a0\u00bb home PSX mode to ZiNc – it was really there all along waiting to return. Retenons que ZiNc \u00e9mulera prochainement la Playstation et sera OpenSource \u00e0 partir de la version 1.2 !!<\/p>\n Rappelons que Duddie et Tratax (+ Kazzuya) \u00e9taient les auteurs de PSEmuPRO qui date d’au moins 1997 (un bon \u00e9mulateur qui lan\u00e7a le concept de Plugins pour emus PSX) et que les plugins OGL de Pete Bernet fonctionnent d\u00e9j\u00e0 pour ZiNc depuis plusieurs versions (m\u00eame si pour le moment la version des renderers fil\u00e9 dans ZiNc suffit, tant que ZiNc n’\u00e9mule que de l’arcade du moins…). Si ePSXe est tr\u00e8s bien, il est loin d’\u00eatre parfait donc ca serait pas un mal de voir encore de nouveaux \u00e9mulateurs de PSO sortir car d’apr\u00e8s RB: \u00ab\u00a0ePSXe is, as far as I know, dead\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n Je vous conseil de voir ce thread <\/a> ainsi que celui-ci<\/a> pour en apprendre d’avantage.<\/p>\n
\nNow, I know a lot of current ZiNc users weren\u00b4t around back then and couldn\u00b4t care less about the ghost of scene politics past, but there\u00b4s more. ZiNc will become open source as of the v1.2 release. This does *not* mean the end of the project – smf and I will continue to update ZiNc after that point (after all, \u00ab\u00a0complete\u00a0\u00bb is a long way off) but we will welcome improvements from external contributors as well.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
