Additionally, the experimental *Overlay Applet* has been added, which can be accessed via \u00ab\u00a0Enable Overlay Applet\u00a0\u00bb and holding the home button for a short time, much like a real Switch.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Universal<br \/>\n&#8211; Improved shader compilation speed<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed the \u00ab\u00a0Audio Engine\u00a0\u00bb setting not properly saving<br \/>\n&#8211; Low-level optimizations and performance improvements (as always)<br \/>\n&#8211; Experimental support for overlay and system setup applets<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed some system settings not saving under certain conditions<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed some race conditions and cache\/memory issues on NCE<br \/>\n&#8211; GPU accuracy levels have been reworked. Use \u00ab\u00a0Performance\u00a0\u00bb for high performance but more frequent graphical issues, \u00ab\u00a0Accurate\u00a0\u00bb for less graphical glitches at the cost of performance, and \u00ab\u00a0Balanced\u00a0\u00bb for a mix of the two.<br \/>\n  &#8211; *Accurate* is not needed on many titles. Most titles that required High before (Pokemon Legends: Z-A, Pokemon Scarlet\/Violet, etc.) can safely use Balanced.<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed Metroid Prime 4 issues<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed game icons on the Switch Home Menu (QLaunch)<br \/>\n&#8211; Reduced JIT latency by removing unnecessary reg_allocs<br \/>\n&#8211; Themed logo for the New Year and Christmas<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed a memory leak in video decoding that could cause crashes in games such as Echoes of Wisdom<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Renderer<br \/>\n&#8211; Further improvements to Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Scarlet\/Violet graphical issues<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed Lego Horizon white screen<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed blurring in Burnout<br \/>\n&#8211; All platforms and drivers will now attempt to continue even if the driver is determined to be unsuitable<br \/>\n  &#8211; *This also allows the experimental KosmicKrisp MESA driver to run on macOS, and the Dozen\/dzn driver to run on WSL*<br \/>\n&#8211; Swapchain presentation now uses a faster deque method<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Desktop<br \/>\n&#8211; Network configuration can now be done per-game<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed macOS Vulkan crash<br \/>\n&#8211; Enabled VideoToolbox video accelerator on macOS<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed the delay in mouse panning<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Android<br \/>\n&#8211; Reworked the setup screen to use smaller buttons rather than giant pages for each operation<br \/>\n&#8211; Fixed some edge cases where game decryption and mod loading would take longer than usual<br \/>\n&#8211; Significantly reduced final APK size<br \/>\n  &#8211; The way FFmpeg was built on Android has changed to use the same method as other platforms. This resulted in FFmpeg being able to be statically linked rather than distributed as a shared library like before.
