{"id":12721,"date":"2006-07-31T11:03:22","date_gmt":"2006-07-31T11:03:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/127.0.0.1\/ef\/?p=12721"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.emu-france.com\/?p=12721","title":{"rendered":"[Ordi.] OpenMSX v0.6.1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nouvelle version pour cet \u00e9mulateur de MSX dont voici les changements:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>New or improved emulator features:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; Run-time switching of machines:<br \/>\n    change:        set machine<br \/>\n    query:         set machine<br \/>\n&#8211; Run-time switching of extensions:<br \/>\n    insert:        ext<br \/>\n    remove:        remove_extension<br \/>\n    query:         list_extensions<br \/>\n&#8211; Run-time switching of ROMs:<br \/>\n    insert\/change: carta<br \/>\n    remove:        carta -eject<br \/>\n    query:         carta<br \/>\n&#8211; New command \u00ab\u00a0hda\u00a0\u00bb to change the IDE harddisk (\u00ab\u00a0hdb\u00a0\u00bb for second drive etc).<br \/>\n  This is allowed only when the power is off, for the safety of your data.<br \/>\n&#8211; SDLGL-PP renderer (OpenGL-2.0), with the following exclusive features:<br \/>\n  * scale factor 4<br \/>\n  * TV scaler: brighter pixels are drawn bigger<br \/>\n  * 3D monitor effect: (arcade look)<br \/>\n    set display_deform 3D<br \/>\n  * horizontal stretch: (MSX aspect ratio)<br \/>\n    set display_deform horizontal_stretch<br \/>\n&#8211; Monochrome monitor effect:<br \/>\n    monitor_type<br \/>\n&#8211; Video noise effect:<br \/>\n    set noise<br \/>\n  Low amounts of noise (for example 2.5) can make the video look better, high<br \/>\n  amounts are just a gimmick.<br \/>\n&#8211; Brightness and contrast control: \u00ab\u00a0set brightness \u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0set contrast<br \/>\n  \u00ab\u00a0, where 0 is neutral.<br \/>\n  A small decrease in contrast will make the noise look better.<br \/>\n&#8211; Preload disk image: avoids repeated spin-ups when loading from PC CD-ROM.<br \/>\n&#8211; TCL procedures can now have a help text and TAB completion.<br \/>\n  We also added help and completion to the TCL scripts that ship with openMSX.<br \/>\n&#8211; New console command \u00ab\u00a0about\u00a0\u00bb which searches for commands (built-in or TCL<br \/>\n  scripts) that seem to be about the given keyword. Useful if you forgot the<br \/>\n  exact name of a command.<br \/>\n&#8211; Watchpoints for I\/O port and memory access:<br \/>\n    debug set_watchpoint   [] []<br \/>\n    debug remove_watchpoint<br \/>\n    debug list_watchpoints<br \/>\n  Where type is one of \u00ab\u00a0read_io\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0write_io\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0read_mem\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0write_mem\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\n  Address is in range 0..255 for I\/O ports and 0..65535 for memory.<br \/>\n  Condition and command are the similar to the \u00ab\u00a0set_bp\u00a0\u00bb command.<br \/>\n&#8211; Detection of DI\/HALT (hanging MSX).<br \/>\n&#8211; Detection of Undefined Memory Reads (UMRs).<br \/>\n  When memory is read that was never written to, a TCL procedure is called.<br \/>\n  You can make your own, or use the included procedure named \u00ab\u00a0umrcallback\u00a0\u00bb:<br \/>\n    set umr_callback umrcallback<br \/>\n  This is \u00ab\u00a0valgrind\u00a0\u00bb for MSX \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p><strong>MSX device support:<\/strong><br \/>\n&#8211; IDE CD-ROM support: the \u00ab\u00a0ide\u00a0\u00bb extension now contains a CD-ROM drive in<br \/>\n  addition to a harddisk.
