Raine est un \u00e9mulateur Arcade. Con\u00e7u \u00e0 l’origine pour \u00e9muler \u00ab\u00a0Rainbow Islands\u00a0\u00bb, il supporte maintenant un paquet de jeux bas\u00e9s sur du hardware \u00ab\u00a0Taito\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Jaleco\u00a0\u00bb et bien d’autres encore.<\/p>\n
Beaucoup moins gourmand que Mame, Raine s’av\u00e8re une excellente alternative. I don't know what's\r\n new inside exactly, but at least the background during attract mode is\r\n different.\r\n - Add semicom drivers poppyrap, cookbib3, pzlbreak. Easy to add, not bad\r\n technically, and good to test the new ways to write clones and drivers !\r\n - In november 2010, a global change from me prevented quite a few game\r\n drivers to correctly load these games, so these drivers just crashed the\r\n emulator or produced a black screen at best. The drivers affected and now\r\n fixed are : cookbib, htchctch, chokchok, sf2yyc, galpanic, hyperpac,\r\n twinkle, 3in1semi, cookbib2, moremore, moremorep, finalttr, hyperpcb,\r\n wintbob, macrossp, ssmissin, pipibibi, mchampdx, hedpanic !\r\n - the lsystem (taito_l) driver now finally works in any color depth, which\r\n allows it to work in opengl or with yuv overlays. While I was at it, I\r\n added 2 more plotting sets : plotting becomes plottinga (to follow mame\r\n names), added plotting and plottingb. There is more work to be done on\r\n this driver, but this was the most important part.\r\n - cleanup of the asuka\/bonzeadv\/earthjk\/cadashr drivers :\r\n - As a bonus, the background of eto is finally fixed, but since it's a\r\n pure japenese game it won't be very interesting !\r\n - Added cadashg, the german version of cadash which was missing, but all\r\n the translations of cadash except english are so bad that it's barely\r\n believable anyway !\r\n - Region dipswitches are now supported by raine, that means dipswitches\r\n which change based on the selected region. It allowed me to remove\r\n jigkmgri, a now useless region clone of bonzeadv.\r\n - A dipswitch testing another dipswitch can be seen in galmedes now, if\r\n you change the dipswitch coinage type, the coinage is updated in real\r\n time on screen. I might have overdone it here, but Stephh is very happy\r\n with this change ! ;-)\r\n - Taito tetris now finally works in any color depth, so it can be used\r\n with opengl or yuv oerlays too.\r\n - bsystem driver : finally fully playble in any color depth too, so\r\n compatible with opengl and yuv overlays. Also I added the missing sprites\r\n to spacedx (you can see them when selecting the type of game). They have\r\n always been missing... Also fixed the framebuffer of this driver : there\r\n was a very funny bug here, if you watched spacedx attract mode long\r\n enough, when the game sequence started, the copyright notice was still\r\n displayed in the background. But the best part is that the shots of the\r\n ships were attacking the letters and destroying them ! It was quite fun to\r\n see a copyright notice being attacked this way !\r\n - cps2 : fix avspd not starting (not exactly a bug here, it was more an\r\n unemulated raster effect that the game was waiting for ever)\r\n\r\nConsole :\r\n - now supports the 68020 and the z80. Not everything works (don't try the\r\n breakpoints with these cpus !), but the basic stuff works. You need dz80\r\n installed on the system to be able to disassemble z80 code, and m68kdis to\r\n display 68020 code (like for the 68000). Also the console won some colors,\r\n it's a basic terminal emulator after all so there was no reason not to use\r\n more colors ! ;-)<\/pre>\n
