This beta version of VCC adds support for the \u00ab\u00a0Becker\u00a0\u00bb interface, which can be used<\/em>
\nto communicate between the emulated CoCo and the outside world via a TCP socket.\u00a0 A<\/em>
\ncommon application for this interface is connecting with a DriveWire 4 server.<\/em><\/p>\n

You will find configuration options for this interface on the BitBanger tab of the<\/em>
\nconfig dialog. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

If you are running DriveWire on the same computer that you run Vcc, enter 127.0.0.1 <\/em>
\nas the server IP address and 65504 as the TCP port.\u00a0 This will match the settings <\/em>
\nused by the simple configuration wizard in DW4 if you choose \u00ab\u00a0emulator\u00a0\u00bb as your<\/em>
\nplatform and leave the other settings at their defaults.\u00a0 You can also connect to a<\/em>
\nserver on another computer or even at another location by specifiying it’s IP address<\/em>
\nand port.<\/em><\/p>\n

HDBDOS for DW ROMs are included in this installation and can be found in the same <\/em>
\ndirectory you installed Vcc to.\u00a0 These can be used in VCC by selecting FD-502 config<\/em>
\nfrom the Cartridge menu, and then choosing \u00ab\u00a0External ROM Image\u00a0\u00bb in the top lefthand<\/em>
\nDos Image selection, and then use the Browse button in the lower right to choose the<\/em>
\nHDBDOS ROM image.\u00a0 A hard reset is required when changing these options.<\/em><\/p>\n

To use the Becker interface with NitrOS9, download any of the disks with names ending<\/em>
\nin \u00ab\u00a0becker\u00a0\u00bb from http:\/\/www.nitros9.org\/latest\/<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n
