On avait pas eu de nouvelle depuis plusieurs mois, voici qu’il revient j’ai nomm\u00e9 ArcadeOS. Il s’agit d’un des meilleurs Front End pour Mame version DOS.<\/p>\n

\n.Cleaned up support for large rom collections.
\n.Added support for advmame.rc config file.
\n.Config menus now more readable.
\n.Support for new Mame 6.x config parimeters.
\n.Support for multiple ROM directories for custom lists.
\n.Corrected defaults for Filters.
\n.LCD\/VFD Display support improved.
\n.Orientation toggle now respects AutoRotate setting.
\n.Support added for monitor rotation hardware.
\n.Corrected Sidewinder Joystick detection on startup.
\n.PNG file support improved.
\n.Unfortunately, still supports only 8 bit (256 color) images.
\n.Displays proper image when launching game in Jukebox Screensaver.<\/p>\n

Note: DAT files from older versions of ArcadeOS will not work with
\nthis version of ArcadeOS!<\/em><\/p>\n

Newly added parameters in ARCADEOS.CFG include: <\/strong>
\n#configuration file used by mame executable config=mame.cfg
\nIn order for this to work there must be an associated DAT file in
\nthe ARCADEOS directory. This file is used to define user-configurable
\noptions for that config file. Currently, this field may contain
\n\u00ab\u00a0mame.cfg\u00a0\u00bb or \u00ab\u00a0advmame.rc\u00a0\u00bb only.<\/em><\/p>\n

Multiple ROM Folder Filtering:<\/strong>
\nTo use multiple ROM directories with Custom Sets, divide roms into
\ndesired directories. List these directories in rom path line of the mame
\nconfig file seperater by semi-colons (;). Within ArcadeOS, set \u00ab\u00a0C.List
\nis Copy\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Filters Active\u00a0\u00bb in the ArcadeOS Config:Information menu.
\nProceed to the ArcadeOS Config:Filters menu and select the position of
\nthe desired ROM directory from 1 to 10 (0=not filtered). Repeat this
\nFilter setting from within each Custom Set. All other filter options my
\nbe used with this setting.<\/em><\/p>\n

Extra EMU files MUST be updated:<\/strong>
\n– DAT files from older versions of ArcadeOS will no longer work!
\n– See changes to documentation in EXTRA.DOC of the ArcExtra set for
\nchanges to DAT files.
\n– Additional Feature changes have been incorporated into the new ArcadeOS Manual included with this package.<\/em><\/p>\n
