Cet \u00e9mulateur est \u00e9galement le plus complet des outils de d\u00e9veloppements X68000 existant aujourd’hui. Il s’agit d’un fork de l’\u00e9mulateur XM6 v2.05 de PI avec une pl\u00e9thore de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s. Les changements sont pour la plupart li\u00e9s \u00e0 l’interface utilisateur et un accent a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur le d\u00e9veloppement et les fonctions de d\u00e9bogage plut\u00f4t que sur l’exactitude de l’\u00e9mulation, cependant il y a suffisamment d’am\u00e9liorations pour qu’il soit recommand\u00e9 d’utiliser cette version plut\u00f4t que XM6 v2.06 finale.

\nLes changements:
\n 
\n– Screen shots are now saved in PNG format.<\/p>\n

– In addition to saving disk space, PNG output should also be faster. However,
\n if you don’t want PNG files for some reason, you can temporarily change the
\n default by opening the Tools > Screen Save dialog and then selecting the
\n Bitmap filter. You can also disable PNG support entirely by removing ZLIB1.DLL<\/p>\n

– A backup, in-memory state file is now made prior to resetting, whether or not
\ninitiated by the user. The Undo menu item can be used to load this state file.
\nA dialog will provide more details along with an opportunity to cancel.<\/p>\n

(Partly for historical reasons, XM6 sometimes unilaterally resets the VM in
\nresponse to user actions, such as simultaneously inserting two floppy disks.)<\/p>\n

– In addition to resets, the above backstop also applies to a few other events:
\nturning the virtual power switch off or pressing the Interrupt button.<\/p>\n

Warning: The above feature is only intended to revert accidental losses.
\n Do not abuse it for other purposes; the undo command will only be available
\n for a few minutes at most. (If you need more time, pause the emulator.)<\/p>\n

– The Alt-F5 accelerator was removed so it can potentially be repurposed in the
\nfuture. There remain three other keys that have the same effect when qualified
\nwith the Alt key: F12, B, and Pause\/Break.<\/p>\n

– The breakpoints window menu now has a new option (not saved) to retain the
\ncurrent set of breakpoints whenever state is loaded.<\/p>\n

– You can now double-click an interrupt vector number to… ah, whom am I kidding?<\/p>\n

 
\nBug fixes:<\/p>\n

– Cheats for bytes at even addresses were being exported ambiguously.<\/p>\n

– Unpausing emulation by pressing a controller button had some deficiencies.<\/p>\n

– Simultaneously loading a state file and multiple floppy disk images no longer
\ncauses an automatic reset (which would discard most of the state just loaded).<\/p>\n

– Mouse blanking is no longer blocked by minimized\/hidden subwindows.<\/p>\n

– Input rejection for several state-loading accelerators was recently broken.<\/p>\n

– Under certain highly contrived circumstances, it was possible for the VM thread
\nto lock out the GUI thread completely.<\/em><\/p>\n
