Tux<\/strong><\/a> profite de quelques jours de vacances pour sortir une nouvelle version de RAINE. De nombreux bugfixes \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0, ainsi que quelques nouveaux jeux support\u00e9s(*)<\/strong>, dont Zombie Raid. <\/p>\n

\nContinuez comme \u00e7a, et nous aurons droit \u00e0 une version 0.41, m\u00eame si ce n’est pr\u00e9vu avant un certain temps…<\/p>\n

Voici la liste des nouveaut\u00e9s:<\/p>\n

New to version 0.40.2 :<\/p>\n

* I fixed the rotation keys for \u00ab\u00a0forgotten worlds\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0downtown\u00a0\u00bb. Now you have the keys \u00ab\u00a0Button n Left\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Button n Right\u00a0\u00bb to handle the rotation when the other keys are used for the movement. Now these 2 games are playable again, but not easy at all ! The mouse can be used instead of these 2 keys for player 1.<\/p>\n

* While doing this, I discovered that the custom keys were totally broken, it was impossible to define custom keys for a game because they were overwriten by the default keys. This bug is clearly very old, proof that nobody used this feature for quite a while… (it’s called dead code !)<\/p>\n

* Then I added \u00ab\u00a0Caliber 50\u00a0\u00bb, another 68000\/6502 game from seta which uses these keys to rotate while you move with the other keys.<\/p>\n

* Then I added other 6502 games to test our new 6502 emulator : \u00ab\u00a0Thundercade\u00a0\u00bb and \u00ab\u00a0Arbalester\u00a0\u00bb. Thundercade is not a very interesting game, but it trigered a bug in the 6502 emulator and showed that it was still missing some operands. All fixed now.<\/p>\n

* Then I started to add a few other seta games (thanks to mame for all the details of the emulation) : \u00ab\u00a0Zombie Raid\u00a0\u00bb (you definetely need to try this one!) – I fixed the raine crosshair to work in any color depth to work in this game, then \u00ab\u00a0Daioh\u00a0\u00bb (finally some serious competition for Dodonpachi !!! ;-), \u00ab\u00a0Dragon Unit\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Mobile Suit Gundam\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0SD Gundam Neo Battling\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Strike Gunner S.T.G\u00a0\u00bb, \u00ab\u00a0Ultraman Club\u00a0\u00bb (which seems related to the cps1 game megaman), \u00ab\u00a0Wiggie Waggie\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Except these major changes there lots of little fixes. The makefile is also a little more clever in linux to guess the operating system (what a shame it still depended upon an environement variable !).<\/p>\n

I also updated the cheats and the hiscore.dat file from the unofficial hiscore.dat site. If this is not the last version of raine, then the next one will take a long time to come, there is a lot to rewrite, and I am not sure to be ready for that just now…
