Cet \u00e9mulateur est \u00e9galement le plus complet des outils de d\u00e9veloppements X68000 existant aujourd’hui. Il s’agit d’un fork de l’\u00e9mulateur XM6 v2.05 de PI avec une pl\u00e9thore de nouvelles fonctionnalit\u00e9s. Les changements sont pour la plupart li\u00e9s \u00e0 l’interface utilisateur et un accent a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sur le d\u00e9veloppement et les fonctions de d\u00e9bogage plut\u00f4t que sur l’exactitude de l’\u00e9mulation, cependant il y a suffisamment d’am\u00e9liorations pour qu’il soit recommand\u00e9 d’utiliser cette version plut\u00f4t que XM6 v2.06 finale.

\nLes changements:
\n 
\nRelease L = 50
\n– The Num Lock LED now retains its state when it is being used as an X68000 key.
\n(By default, Num Lock is mapped to the CLR key.) In other words, if you press
\nNum Lock, and it is interpreted as an X68000 key, the LED will revert to its
\nprevious state after a fraction of a second. The LED will still toggle as usual
\nwithin dialogs and similar contexts. If you dislike this feature, remap CLR
\n(key 3F) in the keyboard settings to any other key, or remove its mapping.
\n– The above feature can fail, but it only happens rarely and certain keyboards
\n never seem to have an issue. The problem is unlikely to occur during typical
\n usage of the emulated CLR key.
\n– For consistency, the default directory is now set to the current directory at
\nthe time the program starts, unless the current directory is someplace stupid.
\n– The disassembler now flags a number of encoding errors that are ignored by the
\n68000. These typically arise when data is misinterpreted as instructions, but
\ncan also be due to assembler bugs or the use of modes exclusive to newer CPUs.
\n– The disassembly of bit manipulation instructions (BCHG, BCLR, BSET, and BTST)
\nnow displays the bit number in decimal form, which is generally more useful.
\nThe number is also masked to indicate how it will be interpreted by the CPU.
\nIf the original bit number was too large, one or two question marks will be
\nappended, the latter being the case if it exceeded the legal 8-bit range.
\n– SWAP was being disassembled with a .W extension, which could be misleading.
\nThe extension is now omitted. (It swaps word-sized halves of a long-word
\nregister, and the condition codes are set based on the 32-bit result.)
\n– Some efficiency improvements were made concerning file I\/O.
\n 
\nBug fixes:
\n– Certain configuration items were being updated even when unused. Now that the
\nconfiguration file is only updated if different, this caused unnecessary writes.
\n– Automatic Controller Mode wouldn’t activate for certain unusual configurations
\nif the Prefer Real setting was enabled, which it is by default.
\n– Fixed a few minor decoding errors in the disassembler. It will still blithely
\ndecode many invalid combinations, however.
\n– MOVE to\/from CCR was being disassembled with a .B extension which is just wrong.
\n(The CCR is 8-bit — ’tis true! — but these two instructions are word-sized.)<\/em><\/p>\n
