Dans la série « Virtual » de James « The Animal Tamer », vous avez déja eu le droit a : Aquarius, MC-10, VZ2000, NEC Treck, Panasonic JR-200U, APF & Sorcerer.
Voici aujourd’hui son 8ème projet logiquement intitulé « Virtual Interact », qui émule l’Interact Family Computer. Il s’agit de la toute premiere release (v0.01), sachez que rien ne marche correctement (on espere pour le moment), un certains nombre de bugs ont déja été référencé :
1. There is no sound.
2. It’s not running at the right speed.
3. The cassette loading is ROM-patched (a form of cheating)
4. Joysticks don’t work. The numeric keypad is both joysticks, with the numeric keypad – and numeric keypad + keys serving to emulate the potentiometer knob.
5. You must configure the printer filename before trying to LPRINT or LLIST or COPY. Not that those work anyway.
6. Most things don’t work. This is a very early version of the emulator.

Il s’agit d’un ordinateur sorti en 1979 aux USA par la société Interact Electronics Inc. Il est architecturé autour d’un CPU Intel 8080a et possède une rom de 2 Ko pour 16 Ko de Ram.
