Discovered that Vs. Net Soccer is Type 4 rather than Type 3, and that Winning Spike has the same protection as the 3 Type 4 games. A little work on it and it runs, but isn’t playable and isn’t graphically complete due to the protection (it’s used more subtly than in the other games – after you coin up, you lose controls, for instance 😉 Still, it’s progress.
