Fixed an annoying inconsistency between memory_share and memory_region:
  the width() method of the former returned the width in bits (8, 16, 32 or 64)
  while the width() method of the latter returned the width in bytes
  (1, 2, 4 or 8). Now both classes have a bitwidth() method and a bytewidth()
  method. Updated all callers to use whichever one was more appropriate.
  Also removed the implicit-cast-to-any-integer-pointer of memory_regions,
  which was rather unsafe (if you weren't careful with your * operators and
  casts it was easy to accidentally get a pointer to the memory_region object
  itself instead of to the data, with no warning from the compiler... or at
  least I kept doing it) Updated all devices and drivers that were accessing
  regions that way to use a region_ptr_finder when possible, and otherwise to

The tilemap system now respects gfx_element::total_colors(). Fixed various

Correct sound rom for 'tturf' (Tough Turf (set 2, Japan, 8751 317-0104)) [ShouTime]

Added region_ptr_finder, which works like shared_ptr_finder except it
  finds a ROM region instead of a memory share. Unlike the already
  existing memory_region_finder, these can be accessed without
  any overhead (since it's a pointer directly to the data and not
  to the memory_region object), can be whatever data type you want
  with no casting needed, and are strictly type-checked--if you have
  a required_region_ptr the region has to be a ROM_REGION32
  (or an implicitly 32-bit region due to belonging to a device with
  a 32-bit bus) or the finder won't find it and will tell you why.
  Basically, region_ptr_finders are strictly better than
  memory_region_finders and all drivers using the latter should be
  converted over [Alex Jackson]

Converted many sound devices to use a required_region_ptr to find their
  sample ROMs instead of looking up the region manually in device_start().
  Note that this means that you can no longer get away with having e.g. an
  OKIM6376 without a ROM (as several slot machine skeleton drivers did);
  MAME will now complain at startup about the missing region, instead of
  just crashing the first time the chip tries to play a sound like it did

Vous aurez besoin de .NET Framework installé sous Windows. Pantheon est spécifiquement dédié aux jeux.


Le gros avantage est que ceux-ci sont téléchargés automatiquement en un clic sans que l’on ait besoin de faire quoi que ce soit d’autre. Il est bien dommage que Panthéon ne dispose pas de filtres, cela rend les jeux très pixelisés en raison des basses résolutions natives.

Pour rappel il s’agit d’un remake de Street Of Rage 1/2/3 pour Windows/Linux/MacOS/..  avec de nouveaux décors, armes, mouvements, options (scale2x, scanlines, galleries etc..) et des musiques remixées très bien choisies (provenant en partie de Ocremix et Vgmusic).



Bref du travail excellent qui mériterai une très bonne note si l’on s’amusait à en faire un test (en prenant en compte qu’il s’agit d’un remake et pas d’un nouveau jeu à part entière).

Allgamers… vous ne connaissez pas ? Eh bien c’est l’occasion !




Historique (version courte) :

Après avoir géré un site internet dédié à la PSP, Horeus a l’idée de créer un espace web où l’on trouverait une actualité retrogaming quotidienne, chose qui n’existait pas encore. Pour que ce soit pas monotone, il y ajoute l’insolite lié aux jeux vidéo et des sujets sur des jeux vidéo incontournables. Dans la soirée du 12 octobre 2008, Allgamers est né. Pourquoi ce nom ? Tout simplement parce que cela rassemble tous les joueurs, quel que soit leur console préférée.

Allgamers commence timidement sur une structure gratuite. Malheureusement, par manque de temps, quelques semaines plus tard Allgamers est fermé. Puis, début juin 2009, il est de nouveau ouvert. Cette fois, le site sera axé principalement sur le retrogaming. Le 15 juin 2009 à 19h30, (v2) s’ouvre officiellement au public. Quelques jours plus tard, le portail est installé. Au fil des jours et des mois, Horeus apprend petit à petit la programmation html et css.


Suite aux (très) nombreuses modifications et améliorations, le site, et notamment la page d’accueil, changera de forme, ceci afin de bénéficier d’une navigation optimale pour les visiteurs. Début 2012, Horeus réfléchit à une nouvelle version de la page d’accueil. En juin, les premiers contacts sont établis avec des web-designers.



Des interviews, des homebrews, des dossiers et un chat content


Nouvelle page d’accueil signifie nouveau logo et nouveau fond du site. Il est donc décidé d’utiliser l’image que Breakman avait créée à l’occasion d’un concours. Ce dernier l’a adapté aux dimensions du nouveau site et s’est chargé également de l’image de fond.




Allgamers ne ressemble pas aux autres sites de rétrogaming, plus généralistes. Sa spécificité est de proposer une actualité au plus près des programmeurs, des reportages de conventions, des projets Homebrew en cours sur différentes plateformes. Il propose une actu presque « familiale » qui lui confert un côté plaisant et atypique, qui reprend parfois un concept similaire à nos news ponctuelles [Projet Fan] et [Remakes] (nous allons pouvoir nous reposer à ce niveau^^).


Sa place est donc tout à fait dans l’esprit d’Emu-France et de même, le monde de l’émulation, étant lui aussi une forme spéciale du rétrogaming, notre participation à son site coule de source !

La dernière version béta publique de l’excellent WinUAE, l’émulateur Commodore Amiga.


- Added 1M/0.5M+0.5M chip/slow ram option checkbox to Advanced Chipset (for example in rev6 A500 it is JP2 solder pad). If hardware is configured for 1M chip without 512k slow ram, normal chip ram alias at upper 512k of chip ram address space gets replaced with « bus noise ». Can be only changed when chip RAM size is less than 1M. (ECS Agnus + 512k chipram without slow ram configuration always used this option previously, now it is optional and not enabled by default)
– Map Chip RAM mirror at 0x01000000 in A2620/A2630 config, to prevent A26x0 built-in monitor program detecting huge ram expansion at 0x01000000.
– uaenet.device + slirp combination was broken (probably has always been).
– uaegfx modeid space increased, reduces modeid conflicts if host os has huge amount of modes.
– Debugger does not anymore exit stopped CPU state (STOP instruction) after exiting debugger.
– « SCSI (Auto) » priorities changed: mainboard built-in first, then accelerator board, expansions last. (Expansions was first previously)
– More accurate 68000 prefetch mode instruction cycle usage, added non-static cycle counting (mul, div etc..)
– Most CDTV-CR built-in CD audio player features, including CD+G, are now working. Media changes supported. 3.44 ROM CD player works better than 3.32.

Raine est un émulateur Arcade ainsi qu’une excellente alternative à MAME.


Conçu à l’origine pour émuler « Rainbow Islands », il supporte désormais énormément de jeux et davantage de systèmes. Raine est également LE MEILLEUR EMULATEUR NEOGEO CD, c’est dit !




Beaucoup moins gourmand que Mame, Il inclut également un pack de shaders au format glsl compatible avec celui disponible pour Higan.


Changements :
Got some serious testing on 0.63.15, emufrance found a bug in samsho3 which was there since jully ! So here is the fix. Also mer-curious found some bugs in the sound associations for wakuwaku7, and some bugs in the gui !
Bug fixes only this time !
