Figured out that the sub cpu reset logic was not working! Fixed that and BINGO! Afterburner and Afterburner 2 now run.
The 2 shots on the left are Afterburner, but are the same for Afterburner 2. The one on the right is Afterburner 2.
I also started work on the object layer, though no pictures, yet. Thunderblade still does wierd reads and writes. Though not as many as before.
I also have been looking into other, unemulated System X romsets. These have encrypted ROMs for the main cpu, but a lot of the data is unencrypted (text, vectors, etc). I won’t look into them until I have a playable emulation happening.
