Ce fichier DAT vous permet de tricher dans vos jeux préférés. Il s’active via la touche TAB sous MAME. A noter la suppression de certains cheats à présent disponibles dans le fichier removed cheatsxxxxxxxx.dat Il vous faut donc éditer votre mame.ini (créé avec la commande $mame -cc) et modifier la ligne cheat par celle-ci: cheat_file cheat.dat;removed cheatsxxxxxxxx.dat; ou xxxxxxxx correspond à la date de release du fichier.
Explication: Firstly, non-essential documentation has been removed from the cheat.dat file and included in a separate cheat.txt file. Secondly, the various fighting game move list cheats have been removed from the cheat file as the extra weight of cheats for some games was causing MAME to crash when using the cheat engine in those games. The removed cheats are included for this release only as a separate ‘removed cheats 10022007.dat’ file just in-case you simply can’t live without move list cheats.
