Scott a mis à jour sa page concernant le développement de l’émulation « Laserdisc » sous Mame.
Improved the speed by using the mpeg buffer as the artwork underlay bitmap. Can now get about 100% playback with no frame skipping. Put in the frame skip code as well which more or less works.
Spent a lot of time trying to get the video looking right, it had a strange comb effect every 5 or 6 frames. I used the yukineco program from the MPJEG tools site and that seems to have fixed it.
There seems to be a problem using MPEG1/2 under the MAME license which would prevent this code getting included in the MAME release. I can still release it seperately. That said I’m not that fused about the codec, anything will do, as long as I can seek and it is well compressed.
