Nouvelle version de cet émulateur Snes/Genesis/PC-Engine. Pas de version 2.0.2.6, on passe directement à la 2.0.2.7 !

En voici les améliorations:

For all modules:
a. Added Timing option for sound. This is the number of extra milliseconds of data per frame to generate. The higher the value, the longer the delay between video and audio, but the less chance of sound clicking. The Buffers and Timing values work hand in hand to keep the audio driver buffer full. Since each device is different, tweak as needed.
b. Removed double draw during drop-down menus.

For SNES:
a. Added mgd, fig to list of SNES extensions.
b. Added SNES sound options (Emulate, Sync, Interpolate, Echo, Stereo, 16bit)
c. Emulate is now a separate option in the module. This is whether or not the audio portion of the SNES is emulated. Some games require this to be turned on, but if you don’t want audio, you can turn it off for a performance boost. It is off by default. Enable Sound is linked to this setting in that, if Emulate is off you won’t hear any audio. Likewise, if Emulate is on and Enable Sound is off, you won’t hear any audio. The Emulate setting can be toggled at any time, but it won’t take affect unless the game is reloaded. Saved games always have the Emulate setting of when they were originally saved, so keep that in mind. So in order of performance:
i. Enable Sound Off / Emulate Off = No audio
ii. Enable Sound Off / Emulate On = No audio
iii. Enable Sound On / Emulate On = Audio
d. Disabled Sound Sync by default (it’s expensive). This doubled my frame rate when sound is on.
e. Alternate DecodeBlock scheme.
f. Fixed FF2 audio bug.

Update: la version 2.0.2.8 vient de sortir, ca n’arrête plus !

1. Sound is enabled by default in Global Settings.
2. Fixed crop issue in Genesis module when Window Size and Image Smoothing was turned on.
3. Added a new video mode for PPC, Auto Scale, which is ideal for Genesis. In the case of Genesis, it shrinks the game screen to fit on the device screen while maintaining the aspect ratio. For Gameboy, it scales it larger to fit (equivalent to 150%).
4. Changed sound buffers from drop down to type in list (1-100).
5. Added Refresh property to NES sound. Refresh is the number of times to refresh audio per frame (1 – 240). The higher the number, the more accurate the sound at the expense of performance. The default is 1, as that is also the way MorphGear always worked in the past.
