[MAME] Few more pics/infos about Renju Kizoku. (It’s GO)
There are still gfx glitches, tile banking is uknown atm.
No sound – custom hardware ?
There’s no typical cpu/video/sound hw on the pcb (except uPD6376 DAC).
Unknown 208 pinQFP (surface scratched off) is the CPU + GFX generator + sound
(It’s Seta custom ST-0016 or derivative)
– CPU – z80 core
– Sound – custom, probably 8 channels PCM ?
– Video – custom, sprite (maps, rows, single sprites) based (similar to SSV)
