Charles MacDonald a updaté sa WIP page :

I have made a replacement for the 315-5391 part used on the Sega System 18 mainboard (both versions) implemented in a GAL22V10. It has been tested and works fine on a Clutch Hitter board. Here is an archive with the JEDEC file and source, it’s free for anyone to use and hopefully will help keep people’s games up and running. 🙂

Recently I had tried socketing the YM2612 on a MegaDrive and swapped in a YM3438. While the music was recognizable, it didn’t sound right at all. From an emulation standpoint these two chips are compatible at the register level, but there seem to be some hardware differences. Any ideas?
