ScummVM est un logiciel qui vous permet de jouer certain jeux d’aventures graphiques de type ‘point-and-click’ (pointer et cliquer), à condition que vous possédiez les fichiers de données du jeu. Le plus astucieux : ScummVM remplace juste les exécutables fournis avec les jeux, vous permettant de jouer sur les systèmes pour lesquels ils n’ont jamais été conçus !
 
ScummVM supporte de nombreux jeux d’aventure, y compris les jeux LucasArts basés sur le système SCUMM (tel que Monkey Island 1-3, Day of the Tentacle, Sam & Max, …), de nombreux jeux Sierra utilisant les système AGI ou SCI (tel que King’s Quest 1-7, Space Quest 1-6, …), Discworld 1 et 2, Simon the Sorcerer 1 et 2, Beneath A Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, Les chevaliers de Baphomet (Broken Sword I), Les Boucliers de Quetzalcoatl (Broken Sword II), L’amazone queen (Flight of the Amazon Queen), Gobliiins 1-3, Legend of Kyrandia 1-3, un grand nombre de jeux pour enfants de Humongous Entertainment (incluant les jeux Marine Malice et Pouce-Pouce) et bien plus encore.

Oui, c’est cette période de l’année encore une fois ! Veuillez accueillir la première version de ScummVM de l’année : ScummVM 2.9.1.
 
Cette mise à jour de maintenance se concentre principalement sur la correction de bugs que nos développeurs et utilisateurs ont découverts depuis notre dernière version stable.
 
Comme d’habitude, plusieurs moteurs et plateformes ont bénéficié de corrections et améliorations : AGI, AGS, Asylum, BAGEL, Bladerunner, Hopkins, MADS, NGI, SCI, SCUMM, Sky, Sword1, Tetraedge, Tinsel, Tucker, TwinE et TWP.
 
Nos équipes de portage ont également mené une véritable chasse aux bugs, nous ne pouvons donc fournir qu’un bref résumé des dernières et meilleures corrections !
 
La Nintendo 3DS (oui, nous ne nous soucions pas des dates de fin de vie !) affiche maintenant correctement l’interface graphique si elle est configurée pour utiliser uniquement l’écran supérieur.
 
Android offre désormais une option permettant d’enregistrer et de restaurer votre fichier de configuration ainsi que vos sauvegardes, et la grande majorité des anciens appareils Android verront leurs performances augmenter grâce aux optimisations ARM NEON, activées par défaut. Et le jeu Beneath a Steel Sky ne plante plus lors de l’intro !
 
Le portage Atari a bénéficié de corrections internes au niveau du backend, de l’interface graphique et de l’audio. En parlant d’audio : iOS/iPad reconnaît désormais systématiquement les polices sonores FluidSynth, macOS prend en charge la lecture de CD audio à partir des disques originaux sous Snow Leopard et versions antérieures, et Windows 9x (oui, encore en vie…) peut à nouveau utiliser des fichiers FLAC !

SCUMM:
- Restored the ScummVM 2.7.0 behavior of allowing all the DOS v2-v4 (i.e. Maniac Mansion to Monkey1) EGA titles to be played with the Amiga palette again, using the Render mode game option.
- Fixed most of the iMUSE tracks being silent in the Booty Store, in Monkey2.
- Fixed an accuracy issue with some character positioning in SCUMMv2 and below. This would happen when interacting with the devotee at the airport in Zak McKracken (all releases but the FM-TOWNS one), for instance.
- Fixed Moonbase Commander multiplayer mode crashing guests when starting the game.
- Fixed pops in Sega CD Monkey1 sound effects.
- Fixed saving over an existing save in COMI.
- Fixed excessive MIDI messages being sent during iMUSE music volume reduction (e.g. in the Sam & Max intro), which could cause slowed-down, garbled speech when using older, real MIDI hardware.
- Fixed an iMUSE crash when loading an older savegame with a sound fade in progress.
- Fixed the Jolly Roger enhancement for Monkey1; enabling this enhancement would prevent this flag from appearing when it should no longer be visible anymore, but the fix was incomplete in some VGA floppy releases.
- Fixed the enhancement for Smirk's cigar smoke in Monkey1 FM-TOWNS.
 
Sky:
- Fixed a crash in the intro of Beneath a Steel Sky on some platforms, such as Android.
 
Sword1:
- Fixed audio balance issue when using the Windows executable option.
 
Tetraedge:
- Improved OpenGL vs. software rendering support, preventing the engine from erroring out on Android and some other platforms.
 
Tinsel:
- Fixed Discworld Save/Load menu becoming inaccessible.
 
Tucker:
- Fixed skipping cutscenes, when the Esc key is mapped.
 
TwinE:
- Fixed crash when restarting a game from the launcher a second time.
- Fixed pressing Space in normal mode not triggering Use/Talk action.
- Fixed meca penguin movement.
- Fixed sound related issues.
 
TWP:
- Added an error message when trying to play Thimbleweed Park on platforms not having support for OpenGL with shaders.

 
3DS port:
- Fix top screen not fully rendering in some cases.
 
Android port:
- Added a feature to let users backup and restore their configuration and saves.
- Enabled NEON support by default, resulting in better performance for the vast majority of older Android devices.
- Worked around a bug in ARMv7a Android 6.0 and below, which could cause some game options to be missing, for example.
- Increased stack allocation for Android Java thread, benefiting game engines that heavily use the stack.
 
Atari port:
- Fixed sending of SysEx MIDI messages.
- Fixed crash and distorted audio with certain audio settings.
- Fixed performance issues with SCI32 games like Phantasmagoria or KQ7.
- Various GUI / backend fixes and optimizations.
 
iOS/iPadOS port:
- Fixed Fluidsynth soundfont existence check failing with sandboxed filesystems.
 
macOS port:
- Fixed ScummVM failing to start when the monitor settings are not set to "Millions of colors", on older macOS releases.
- Fixed Audio CD support when playing from original discs on Snow Leopard and earlier.

AmiArcadia est le port amélioré de Tunix2001 ex ‘Win Arcadia 2001’ (par Gavin Turner) pour Amiga. Ecrit par James Jacobs et Gavin Turner, cette version est en fait le port Windows du port Amiga (un backport) !
 

 
Il émule les consoles basé sur la famille des Arcadia2001 : Bandai, Emerson, Grandstand, Hanimex, Intervision, Leisure-Vision, Leonardo, MPT-03, Ormatu, Palladium, Poppy, Robdajet, Rowtron, Tele-Fever, Tempest, Tryom, Tunix, etc.

Il s’agit d’un fork de l’émulateur de Sony PS4 nommé ShadPS4 et qui restaure le support des fichiers PKG.
 
Pourquoi cette fonction a été enlevée de la version officielle?
L’installateur PKG a été supprimé, car il n’est pas nécessaire pour les dumps de jeux, mises à jour et DLC classiques. Son seul usage légitime concernait les titres homebrew, mais il causait beaucoup de confusion parmi nos utilisateurs, qui tentaient à tout prix de convertir leurs dumps classiques en fichiers PKG. Il est recommandé aux utilisateurs de simplement dumper les dossiers non emballés afin de les installer sur shadPS4.
 
Il faut donc simplement déplacez votre dump décrypté vers votre répertoire de jeu dans ShadPS4 et il n’y a pas besoin de reconditionner en fichier fpkg*. Et pour les autres, il y a cette version 😉
 
*: Les PKG sont des packages commerciaux. Les FPKG sont des packages factices que vous pouvez exécuter avec l’aide du menu de débogage.

 


 

La version contient uniquement le fichier EXE, vous devez le mettre dans le dossier de ShadPS4.

L’émulateur de CD-i (cdiemu) fournit une émulation assez complète du lecteur de CD-i, il s’agit probablement du meilleur émulateur du genre, toutefois il est limité (sauf si vous avez déjà activé une édition illimitée sur votre machine ou que vous utilisez un appareil Philips Mono-I player) en durée d’utilisation à seulement 3 minutes et vous ne pourrez pas sauvegarder à moins de payer le programme pour obtenir une version complète et sans restriction.

Les nouveautés:
– The built-in expiration date has been updated to 2026/07/01.
– A « skip system code » option has been added to the debugger trace command
« t », use the syntax « t[N]s ». This will skip tracing into system calls
and exceptions.
– The « unknown » DCP instruction $70 has been renamed from « unk » to
« border $x », based on the SCC66470 VSC datasheet, even though the
instruction does not seem to have any effect for the VDSC.
– The displayed parameter order of these DCP instructions has been
changed to match the corresponding cp_ macro: dprm, icm, tctl;
some display errors in these instructions were also fixed.
– The format of the video mode displayed with VIDEO SETMODE has changed to
WIDTHxHEIGHT (DEC) *RES RATEHz SCAN where SCAN is either « P » or « I » for
progressive and interlaced, respectively; the format used to be
WIDTHxHEIGHT (DEC) RATEHz /RES which was incomplete.
– GitHub issue cdifan/cdiemu#15 was fixed where the debugger « a » command
would not load an stb (symbol table) file with two or more dots in the
filename.
– Video memory dumps can now be saved by selecting Emulate | Dump,
pressing its keyboard shortcut Ctrl-F12 or using the new debugger command
« ex dump ». The video memory dump will be written to a subdirectory
of the dump directory. These dumps can be used with the (to be released)
cdiconv program and source release.
 
A memory dump consists of both a textual meta information file with
extension .dmp and a binary memory data file with extension .dat; the
former contains the filename of the latter. For video memory dumps the
meta information is actually recoverable from the data file except for
the dump source information under [dump] and video mode information under
[cdivideo] for which cdiconv will have a mode parameter.
 
Actually, any emulator memory can be dumped using the new -dumpfilter
option or an additional parameter to the « ex dump » command; the default
« planea;planeb » value however will only dump video memory. Use filter « * »
to dump all devices; for non-memory devices only name, type, address
and attribute meta information will currently be written, the same
information shown by a debugger « eb » emulator bus display command.
 
At some future date the dump function will be extended into a full state
save facility and a single-file IFF-based file format will be introduced.
 
No other user-visible changes have been made. Saving the contents of
the CD-i NVRAM to a file is still supported.

 
NB de Tgames: Seule la version Beta 4 et supérieur a l’implémentation de la NVRAM, c’est à dire que vous pouvez (enfin) sauvegarder avec la version 0.5.3 ! Chose impossible avec la Beta 3, 2 et 1 dont l’auteur avait volontairement supprimé le code permettant de sauvegarder.

Ceci est un fork de x49gp, un émulateur de la plateforme matérielle HP 49G+/50G. Au lieu d’émuler le processeur Saturn comme la plupart (tous ?) des émulateurs HP, celui-ci va un niveau plus loin en émulant directement le système ARM.
