KytyPlus est un fork de KytyPS5, lui-même dérivé du projet original Kyty. Il reprend son émulation de la PlayStation 5 tout en ajoutant plusieurs améliorations, notamment le support expérimental des jeux PS4 via shadPS4, le FSR 1.0, un cache Vulkan permettant de conserver les pipelines compilés et différentes optimisations destinées aux GPU intégrés (iGPU). Il permet également l’installation des fichiers PKG depuis son interface et propose une gestion unifiée des jeux PS4 et PS5. Le projet est encore en développement et de nombreux jeux peuvent rencontrer des plantages, des écrans noirs ou des problèmes graphiques.

Overview
– This release improves package installation and launcher support, and adds Minecraft (PPSA17221) to the compatibility table as Playable.
Package installation
– PS5 .pkg and PS4 fpkg support: The package installation flow now supports both PS5 packages and PS4 fake packages, so users can install either format through the emulator.
.ffpfsc support in the GUI: The launcher now accepts .ffpfsc files for installation. Installed games appear in the game list, and the launcher supports double-click actions and right-click removal for these entries.
Minecraft compatibility
– Minecraft (PPSA17221) is now working in KytyPlus and is listed as Playable in the compatibility table.
Other changes
– Shader failure caching: Deterministic compute-shader compilation failures are cached, preventing the emulator from repeatedly recompiling the same failing shader.
– macOS build fix: Corrected an integer-type mismatch in package parsing that caused compilation to fail with Apple Clang.
