Highlights
– Four KytyPS5 upstream syncs since v4.3, reconciled without losing any KytyPlus features.
– First release in which the launcher successfully starts games again.
– Cheats: remote catalog, Local/Remote dialog, `.shn` import and file picker.
– Performance improvements: reduced renderer synchronisation and allocation overhead.
– DLC support, including mountable content with actual game data.
– Astro Bot now boots past its previously failing shader compilation stage.
– Large batch of shader accuracy improvements from upstream.
Cheats
– Added remote cheat catalog browsing and importing, with per-title and per-version filtering.
– Added Local/Remote dialog: import cheats into Local, select the desired mods and click Apply.
– Added support for `.shn` (ShenJS trainer XML), automatically converted into the mods plan so the emulator only handles a single format.
– Added a **Select file…** button to the Local tab to load cheat files from any location. Files are validated, converted and installed as `_Patches.json`.
– `.mc4` files remain unsupported because upstream publishes them in encrypted form.
Games and content
– Added add-on (DLC) support (#1519).
– Added mountable-content DLC with actual content (#1581).
– Localised trophy notifications using embedded JSON catalogs and made toast duration configurable from 5 to 10 seconds (#1538).
– Enabled `snd0.at9` playback during the startup splash screen (#1545).
– Implemented NGS2 lock/unlock.
– Added vectored writes for profile index saves.
– Added path-based truncation for replay files.
Performance
– Reduced renderer synchronisation and allocation overhead.
– Fixed fixed-refresh VRR status reporting.
– Ported entitlement requests.
– Added verified pattern-fill recognition to the shader recompiler.
Shader and loader accuracy
– Fixed float inline constant reads to use the correct width for 16-bit and 64-bit operands (#1582, #1576).
– Preserved quiet-NaN payload bits outside the packed f16 min/max signalling-NaN path (#1579).
– Fixed f32 clamp behaviour so that NaN values become 0.
– Fixed `DS_CMPST_RTN_B32` to return a 32-bit LDS compare-exchange (#1578).
– Added 64-bit buffer atomic addition support via `BUFFER_ATOMIC_ADD_X2`.
– Added native half conversion for `v_cvt_pkrtz_f16_f32`, used by GTA V (#1520).
– Ensured the front-face input format is honoured.
– Preserved RDNA2 DLC coherence for flat address loads.
– Fixed the loader to preserve the caller’s flags in TLS stubs (#1571).
– Preserved game output and logs across `LoadExec` relaunches (#1480).
Stability fixes
– Fixed the launcher failing to start games. Seven command-line flags it emits were not parsed: `–hdr`, `–hide-cursor`, `–tessellation`, `–network-connected`, `–sync-raw-image-buffers`, `–trophy-notifications` and `–skip-notice-screen`. Every launch therefore exited immediately with an unknown-option error, although the launcher reported success.
– Fixed Astro Bot (PPSA21567) aborting during its `TileBasedLighting` compute shader. Unbound SRT descriptor reads now return zero instead of triggering a fault.
– Restored five network entry points and the `Usbd` and `WebBrowserDialog` export tables, which had stopped registering silently.
– Restored macOS build compatibility. Since the floating-point `std::from_chars` overload is unavailable before macOS 26, argument parsing now uses a validated `strtof` path.
– Restored `KernelHandleReservedRangeAccessViolation`.
– Fixed merged CMake configuration and Linux SDL dependencies.
Build and CI
– Removed test executable compilation and execution from CI, reducing the workload of each job.
– Bundled shadPS4 from the latest upstream prebuilt release instead of compiling it from source.
Known issues
– Astro Bot reaches its splash screen but then stalls while waiting on a guest thread, so it is not yet playable.
– `.mc4` cheats are unsupported.
– Upstream’s `–amd-cpu` instruction patching has not been integrated into the KytyPlus loader path.
